Advisory Board member Geraldo Rivera invited CEO Brian Hulten to discuss issues of the Developmental Disabled on his new 77ABC radio program of January 6, 2012, which marked the 40th Anniversary of the Willowbrook Expose. Geraldo dedicated the program during his first week on the radio to the anniversary. Brian was one of four invited guests to speak on the program along with Ted Shriver of the Special Olympics, a former Willowbrook resident and a parent who initiated the class action suit against the state.
Rivera also used this opportunity to announce that Roger Ailes, President and founder of Fox News and Chairman of Fox Television Network will be acting as honorary Chair and Host of Opengate’s upcoming April 25 Gala honoring Geraldo Rivera.

This reflects our assessment of the conditions of our current properties, and what projects we foresee being needed in this timeframe. Unlike a capital improvement plan, this is not a wish list, this is what it will take to maintain our properties for the health and safety of residents and staff.
