Jeff Lindenbaum received his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from CUNY College of Staten Island and his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from SUNY New Paltz. Jeff has dedicated himself to supporting both adults and children with ID/DD and co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses. With many years of experience across a wide array of environments, Jeff brings a valuable perspective to the team.

As the Director of Clinical Services, Jeff’s goal is to ensure that everyone we support receives the highest-quality, person-centered care. Jeff is determined to ensure that all Opengate staff have the necessary clinical tools to assist and advocate for the people we support. He values ongoing communication with families and advocates, and he believes, “The best type of ability is accountability. Here at Opengate, we are all accountable for ensuring that each person is safe and given individualized opportunities to thrive.”
