Volunteers Make an Impact

Since 2022, the CAREERS Thrift Boutique has been operated by dedicated volunteers passionate about inclusion and community. These volunteers support daily operations at our boutique, where people with disabilities gain hands-on job skills in customer service, merchandising, and using the register. All proceeds directly fund CAREERS' job training and placement programs.

Volunteering at Opengate means knowing you’re showing up for someone who needs your help, building relationships, and getting that “feeling” when you know you’ve made someone happy!
