We offer community-based residential services throughout Westchester County in New York's lower Hudson Valley. Each of our 12 residences is thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of the people we support.
Our homes are safe and secure, staffed around the clock by dedicated caregivers. Residents are encouraged to exercise self-advocacy and independence, allowing them to lead fulfilling and enjoyable lives.

Embracing Every Choice, Hearing Every Voice
Opengate provides each resident with the opportunity to have valued input and participate in the development of their program. Our team is dedicated to fostering independence, promoting community engagement, and facilitating the exploration of new experiences. Every person we support is empowered to contribute to their own daily routines, including whether to dine in or eat out, to help create dinner menus, and to collaborate with staff on plans for outings to parks, shops, amusement parks, and more. Additionally, we organize community events such as outdoor movie nights and live music in the park, offering enjoyable and meaningful experiences for all.

Our Staff Makes a Difference
Every Opengate resident receives support from well-trained Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and an interdisciplinary team of medical, clinical, and administrative staff. Many of our team members have been with Opengate for decades, fostering enduring relationships. Our staff is committed to understanding each resident's unique needs and cultivating a strong sense of belonging and community.
A Community Built on Respect and Compassion
At Opengate, we offer a range of services, including Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) and Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs). We provide compassionate, dedicated support to adults, including those turned away by other agencies, because we believe that everyone deserves a life filled with dignity, respect, and comfort.
